Behind The Artworks: Mr. Unlucky And Pardon The Rope - Hollow (Single) (2022)

Hollow’s artwork is far more close to home. As a child, when Mr. Unlucky needed an escape, he would retreat to the attic. Tucked away from very existence. When diving deep into the meaning of Hollow, the attic represents the last refuge for the addicted soul. It’s a place of contemplation, neglect and in the end, solitude via death. The red tone represents the anger and hate associated with addiction. The stool is the most sinister aspect; the final representation of the addict taking their own life. All that’s left is the kicked over stool and the records of the once audiophile collecting dust.
