Behind The Artworks: Epoch Of Unlight - At War With The Multiverse (2022)

The artwork was done by Eka Saputra, who does art for a lot of metal bands under the name Pzychopart, and he has a pretty distinctive style. When we settled on the title "At War with the Multiverse" we of course wanting the cover art to be science-fiction themed, sort of a Galactus-type being (but not really human, something more abstract, like a menacing "presence") exerting control over the universe, wreaking havoc and spreading destruction. We wanted this being to appear to be "emerging from the cosmos.” After a few revisions, Eka came back with what became the
cover art, and we think he nailed what we were asking for.
