Interviews: Saint Diablo

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metal band, Saint Diablo from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or came out just like that?

Tito (the singer called himself “Saint Diablo” when he was doing his freestyle rapping in high school. Which a band formed from, the name just stuck.. haha! 

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

The band has always evolved its sound. The Latin feel or vibe has always stuck with us. Some songs have it a little, some not at all… others a lot. The Bilingual vocals can really help capture the moment or feeling that just English alone can’t sometimes.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Tito (singer) and Justin (guitars) did. Since middle school.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Tito - Deftones/Cypress Hill

Justin - Pantera

Anthony - Lamb of God/Pantera

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Life, music, relationships, experiences. Love and pain.

6. Where was your last gig?

Dingbatz in Clifton, NJ.

7. Where would you like to act?

Knotfest!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Max Cavalera!

9. Whom not?

We are pretty open to whatever. Haha!

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Yes! Breathing techniques and don’t look anyone in the face! Haha!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Pantera, Deftones, Korn, Slipknot, Cypress Hill, Ill Nino, Sepultura, Emmure, Unearth, Killswitch Engage to name a few…

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Justin used to spray water in the air during a big breakdown in one of our songs. After the show two fans wanted him to “spray” them in the face as he did on stage… very strange. But, he did it… haha!

13. What do you think of your fans?

We love our fans, we call them family. They are great, the best. We really can’t do this without them, truly.

14. What do you think of our site?

It’s great!! Very clean and easy to use. We especially like the “Behind the Artwork”!! That is a lost art with bands these days. Really cool that you show it off like that!

Maybe a bands section on favorite movies or music videos!!
