Interviews: Beauty Is Betrayal

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metal band, Beauty Is Betrayal from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you plan it or come out just like that?

We just started throwing names out to see which ones sound good. Then, Beauty Is Betrayal came out, and there wasn’t an active band with that name. So, we snagged it.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

It’s just fun. Super high energy & it feels good to let some steam out.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We all knew of each other before this band, but now we all know each other a little too well.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

Bri-Flyleaf Ryan- William Hung Alex-Metallica Jaden- Periphery

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We’re pretty big on being inspired by life events; whether it’s a personal experience or world events.

6. Where was your last gig?

We played Cafe Colonial in Sacramento with opening for a band called Avoid.

7. Where would you like to act?

We’ll act anywhere. We’re just happy to play.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Snoop Dog.

9. Whom not?

10. Have any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I don’t think we’ve experienced stage fright. When unexpected things gap during a set like chords being unplugged, or strings break can be stressful. Tips for beating stage fright is to just go for it, and act like you know what you’re doing. You’ll be alright. 

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

It’s hard to pinpoint which bands. We all are inspired by so many artists that it bleeds into our songs.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Luckily, we haven’t had a weird fan overstep a boundary. Maybe one day we’ll have a weird moment with a fan.

13. What do you think of your fans?

We love them. They’re the best, and we love seeing them at our shows.

14. What do you think of our site?
