Interviews: Saint Tragedy

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Hard Rock band, Saint Tragedy from the USA. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE. 

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

Saint Tragedy pretty much came from a list of band names that were jotted down and that name ended up sticking out the most to us and it just fit the element of what we were going for best.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Wayne: For me, there was just something about the hard-hitting yet melodic nature of it all that really caught my attention.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Believe it or not, we all met trying to find people to do the same thing, and here we are.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

There are elements of new age and old school throughout this band for sure, Shinedown, Sabbath, Alter Bridge, Alice In Chains

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Having the utmost passion for it, we all love pouring our hearts out into what is presented.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig we just played was WIIL Rock Fest out in Grayslake, IL

7. Where would you like to act?

I’d say anywhere really, our performance is our way of acting and demonstrating who we are.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Wayne: Everyone that knows me knows I’m a huge fan of Shinedown, so it would definitely have to be a feature with Brent Smith.

9. Whom not?

I don’t think we really have someone we wouldn’t, just getting the opportunity to collaborate in general is always a good time.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tips for beginners on how to beat that?

Wayne: In the beginning fazes of it all of course, but once you can overcome that and realize you are there because you wanna be, it’s so much sweeter. When I step out there I’m wanting to show off what we’ve busted our asses working on for so long, so I just tell myself get to the first chorus and you got this.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Shinedown, Creed, Alice In Chains

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Wayne: I’ll always tell the story of the drunk guy in the bathroom wanting me to sign his arm, to this day anyone it’s told to believes I was signing their third leg. 

13. What do you think of your fans?

Oh, we absolutely adore every one of our fans, it’s an honor when we see those die-hard fans at a lot of our shows, it truly means everything to us.

14. What do you think of our site?

It’s awesome, love how you’re giving up-and-coming bands a chance to have a little spotlight.
