Behind The Artworks: Ciminero - Shadows Digging The Grave (2022)

We wanted to go in the opposite direction compared to our first release. Subterranean Awakening is a beautiful piece of art by a talented artist Taneli Stemberg, really colorful and full of details.

This time we are very minimal: black and violet. The artwork is a photograph taken by Valentina of a church window. It could also represent the lyrical themes: the Underworld, the black part is the present, and human sorrows, when you still try to connect with the above. From the window, you can see the forest and the sky, which we can link to astral adventures. The church is situated in Teijo and is the smallest stone church in Finland. For the style, we were inspired by many photographers who create occult / dark-themed art.
