Interviews: Soul Blast

On this new occasion, we have had the opportunity to interview the Metalcore/Groove Metal band Soul Blast from Poland. Check out the interview and follow the band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

It just happened. A conglomerate of words that best reflects what we want to show with our music. Must be a blast, the one for your soul.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

It just sits in us. This mix of different genres of heavy music. Fat riffs, chanted lyrics, total groove. This is how we feel, this is how we do it.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Mostly yes. A few years ago, there were a few personal changes, but we always come across each other through our friends.

4. Each band member's favorite band?

We will not mention it because we are afraid that we have missed someone, and that would be not nice. Generally, we have a lot of sympathy for the New York scene and what was happening in metal music in the 90s.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

What we see around. Our friend says that there is a lot of sociology in the lyrics, such as an analysis of modern times.

6. Where was your last gig?

Kraków, Poland. It was an amazing evening. We intend to do this again in the nearest future.

7. Where would you like to perform?

The stadium, definitely the stadium. Thousands of people, that's it.

8. Whom would you like to perform with?

There are several such bands. We would make a small festival out of it.

9. Whom not?

We have no idea 😉.

10. Have any of you ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Give one a high-five, close your eyes, and just treat it as a cool thing. Nothing is more fun than doing what you like.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Those from the 90s, both from Poland and abroad. It was a very good time for heavy and cor music.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Let's do a quick jam session now.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Open-minded people. They devote their time not only to us but also to other bands. Great respect for them for that.

14. What do you think of our site?

Cool place of information, great job. We keep our fingers crossed for the development of the website.
