Though some members of the band have been playing together for over a decade, Rhizomata completed its current lineup late in 2021 and hit the local music scene in 2022. After nearly a year of shows, the band has continued to improve and bring a fresh take on early 2000s metalcore.

Truly embracing the root of its name, "rhizome", the band finds the common thread among a variety of musical styles and influences to deliver new and interesting tunes while paying homage to the greats like All That Remains, Killswitch Engage, Trivium, and more.

Fans of the band enjoy the energetic riffs, heavy bass lines, technical and fast drumming, brutal harsh vocals, and soaring clean choruses. “
