Band Biographies: Human Target

Human Target was founded in Tampere, Finland in 2021. Having released the crude three-track demo only six weeks after our first rehearsal we set out to make some more music immediately. At around this time, we were also joined by a second guitarist and thus became a complete band.

Throughout the following year, we kept ourselves busy crafting our first EP while playing a whole bunch of gigs in Tampere and elsewhere in Finland.

The EP in question was made with absolutely no money whatsoever (except for the drum tracks), relying on old, cheap, and frequently malfunctioning equipment to get the job done. Despite this, the EP can be considered a somewhat accurate representation of our brand of old-school death metal.
