Arm The Witness - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you a new interview to the Post-Hardcore band Arm The Witness from USA. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview and also like their FACEBOOK PAGE

1. Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We planned the name Arm The Witness as a band, we're all Christians and we use the name in a form of protection you know like you're arming the witness, a person who has seen miracle and people who get bullied and made fun of. We are the voice that tells those people that they no longer have to be afraid, we are here to protect with our lyrics and music, we are here to Arm The Witness.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

The reason we chose to play this genre of music is because its a genre of music that we have grown up listening to starting with bands like Bring Me The Horizon, Bless The Fall, Of Mice&Men, old Attack Attack, Asking Alexandria etc. And we all love and share the same passion for this genre as well.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We did all know each other before Arm The Witness was formed. The majority of us have been life long friends and a few friends of a few years, but regardless we all treat each other like family.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Logan Bishop (Vocalist) : Memphis May Fire
Dale Fleenor (Guitarist) : Motionless In White
Trevor Rouse (Guitarist) : The Devil Wears Prada
Justin Blankenship (Bass) : Like Moths To Flames Mason
Bishop (Drums) : August Burns Red


5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

The people that inspires us to write songs are our Fans, Friends, Family, God, and just the World in general. As far as what inspires us it would be our daily lives, things that happen in them whether it be good or bad its always something to learn from and express ourselves through our music with.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was two days ago on the 25th at Empire in Springfield VA for the Empire Winter Battle Of The Bands

7. Where would you like to act?

All over the world.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Any famous artist that we look up to or listen to would be an honor to have them featured with us

9. Whom not?

Justin Beiber

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright?

I don't think any of us has ever suffered from stage fright, A tip to beat the stage fright would be to embrace the crowd just go out there, give it your all and have fun!

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

The bands that have inspired of the most would be Of Mice&Men, Memphis May Fire, Motionless in White, Bless The Fall, and Like Moths To Flames

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for? 

The weirdest thing a fan has ever asked me for would have to be my gauges because she thought the looked cute and she had nothing for me to sign.

13. What do you think of your fans? 

We think our fans are our life support, they are what makes all of this possible for us, if it wasn't for the fans we would not be where we are today or be given the opportunities than have been given and approached us. We love our fans unconditionally!

14. What do you think of our site? 

Your site is very unique and promotional for a lot of bands that haven't been heard and are trying to be heard and its amazing to see the interest that it shows in metalcore and we're excited to be interviewed by you guys. In other words your sites amazing!!
