Left Behind - Interview

 

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you a new interview to the Punk Rock/Hardcore band Left Behind from Italy. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview and also like their FACEBOOK PAGE cause these band is epic.

1 Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The idea for the name came to us almost spontaneously... Just as we were only beginning and no one knew us and ironically we felt the “Left Behind”. Many argue that we have taken the title of a song by Slipknot... Is absolutely not true.

2 Where did you get the idea for the CD/EP name?

Well, the titles of our discs have a logical thread... Starting from the first album “Learn to walk” then moved to “Away from here” coming to an end to “No time for regrets”, we wanted to highlight the key parts that have characterized us in these years. Like all, early you are young, inexperienced and ingenuous, then you start to make up your own mind about the world (which may be right or wrong), and then get to appreciate the things that really matter to your person without spending time on futile things... The time we have been given... And we want to use in the best way as possible.

3 Why did you want to play this genre?

But because is the genre that most belong to us, that we have always involved in cheerful situations and not. When we were teenagers we filled with dreams and is the kind of music that takes us back to the memories when we do not care about anything outside of our friends.

4 Did you know each other before the band was formed?

No, we met a few in the evening, to see concerts in the pub, we talked about music and then from there it all began.

5 Each band member favourite band?

Aiello: Rancid;

Venturelli: Rise Against;

Pedroni: Folk Stone;

Campana: Strung Out;

Dotti: Alkaline Trio

6 Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Talk Aie (guitarist). Inspiration can come from anything: from giving advice to a friend or to yourself, to be a disappointment, or if I had a shitty day at work, or from the stimulus that you find when you read a book or see a movie... I think everything can give you the urge to write, but you have to know how to take the time.

7 Where was your last gig?

It 'was March 15th... Where we presented precisely “No time for regrets” for the first time. It was really fun to play in front of our fans... Also because we saw that they were careful to hear our new work and we liked it even more.

8 Where would you like to act?

Talk Aie (guitarist). Playing in german, british or american festivals... Really cool! Nothing to take away from italian fest... Because for us it would be a good opportunity to play there. But when you see the enormous stages of International festival... I'm not in the skin!

9 Who would you like to feature with?

This is a question more individual... Each of us has a myth that always follows, and consequently would like to cooperate in our piece... Certainly can not miss a Bruce Springsteen or a Tim Armstrong rather than Dave Grohl.

10 Whom not?

(laughs) Justin Bieber.

11 What bands have inspired you the most?

Surely those that have made us grow musically since childhood... Nirvana, Green Day 90s, the Boss, Blink 182... But also younger artists such as Alexisonfire, You Me At Six, Set Your Goals... Many artists, from genres totally different, but that they all have the energy that bring you to listening to a parallel life.
