Amongst Pariahs - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore band  Amongst Pariahs from Switzerland, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

David, our screamer, came up with the name. We had other band names in mind but Amongst Pariahs was the one we were most satisfied with.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

Musically, it's the combination of heavy and melodic stuff. Furthermore we like breakdowns. Vocally, I think it's the best way to express our lyrics, especially the mix between screaming and clean singing.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

David and I played in the same band before, we met our drummer Jannik at a show we played and we know our bassist Remo through a band contest he participated in with his old band.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Jeremy - August Burns Red, Breakdown of Sanity, Billy Talent

David - Memphis May Fire, Betraying the Martyrs, The Ghost Inside

Jannik - Aversions Crown, Chelsea Grin, Boris the blade

Remo - Bring Me The Horizon, Sum 41, Blink 182, Asking Alexandria

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

I write about things that affect my daily life.

6. Where was your last gig?  

The last gig I've played was two months ago in my hometown. We haven't played shows with Amongst Pariahs yet, since we're still writing our first songs.

7. Where would you like to act?  

Personally, I would love to play at Vans Warped Tour.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

I guess a feature with Alex Koehler or Denis Shaforostov would be pretty sweet.

9. Whom not?  

Chris Brown, he'd beat the shit out of us!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

We've all suffered from stage fright but I guess the more gigs you play, the less fear you'll have to overcome.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Breakdown of Sanity was one of the bands the inspired us the most. Bands that also inspired us include Parkway Drive, August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying etc.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

Nothing yet. Hopefully that will change haha

13. What do you think of your fans?

We are very grateful for any kind of support we've gotten yet. In the end a band is nothing without it's fans.

14. What do you think of our site?  

I definitely dig it, there are not too many sites that promote this genre so hats off to you!
