Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Post-Hardcore band  PushFire from USA, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

We had been struggling with figuring out a new band name for a long, long time. One day, after so much frustration one of the guys said "We just need to go get drunk, and throw names out there" and by this point we had all agreed. So on our way to practice, we were talking about names that we were on the fence with liking, one of them being simply "Fire" or "The Fire" though we weren't sold on it, and neither was our bassist, Jake. So Bill jokingly says "We should just push Fire on Jake and make him like it"  And the rest is history.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

I'm not sure where we sit in the genre classification, but we don't see it as playing a specific genre because we want to. We see it as playing whatever we come up with, no matter what it sounds like. We have fast songs, we have heavy songs, we have soft songs. We just like to play music, really!

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Tyler and I (Zack) are brothers so we've been playing guitar in the same house for years now. Bill, our singer is my best friend from when we were kids, and throughout college. James went to college with Bill and I at SUNY Fredonia and Jake has been friends with Tyler for a while from High School.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Zack (Guitar, Vocals) - Coheed and Cambria

Tyler (Guitar, Vocals) - As Tall As Lions

James (Drums) - Cognizance

Bill (Vocals) - Guster

Jake (Bass, Vocals) - Brand New

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We pull inspiration from many places, but mostly from cool stories that we hear and the artists we're listening too. Every one of our songs has a meaning behind it, and we really like to do that. We feel it adds a lot of interesting background to the music and engages the listener a little bit more.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was in June at the Montage Music Hall in Rochester NY

7. Where would you like to act?

I think we would all agree that we would all love to play some gigs outside of New York. Would like to play The House of Blues or MSG in future!

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Would love to play a show with Coheed or Brand New or some other big act that we're inspired by. We played a show recently with Protest The Hero and that was amazing!

9. Whom not?

We'll play a show with anyone!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I'm sure we have at some point. I know that we definitely get nerves before every show no matter what, but they quickly go away once we start playing. I think the best thing to do with stage fright is to just prepare as much as you can beforehand. If you're confident in what you're playing you'll have nothing to worry about. If you mess up, you mess up! Even the pros do it, make the best out of the situation and keep going.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Many, Many bands. Our music changes with what we're currently listening to, I think. Brand New, Coheed and Cambria, Circa Survive, Protest The Hero, Receiving End of Sirens, Guster, Killswitch Engage, Metallica are probably the biggest, but even small parts of our songs are inspired by other bands. James, our drummer, definitely has some crazy bands he talks about that we have no idea even existed. He's the encyclopedia of far out there bands, for sure. The list goes on and on.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Not sure about recently, but a long while ago I got asked to sign a shoe at a battle of the bands, so there's that!

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are the ones we do this for. The best feeling in the world is when your fans are super excited for what you're doing, or you hear them singing along at a show. It's so amazing. We keep going on their support. We actually have an IndieGoGo set up for them to help us record our full length too, if they want to check that out here: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/help-fund-pushfire-s-full-length-album/x/7575629

14. What do you think of our site?

We love it! Anything that gives small artists like us a chance to branch out and get our name out there is all good news to us!

15. Something to add?

We'd like people to check out our IndieGoGo and consider donating to our full length. They can find it posted in the above question (https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/help-fund-pushfire-s-full-length-album/x/7575629) and just thank you to Breathing The Core for asking these questions and thank you for the coverage!
