Vinewood - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Melodic Metalcore band  Vinewood from Australia, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, enjoy this excellent interview of this more excellent.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

We're a big fan of video games so we took the name from a fictional city in the GTA series.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

Soft music doesn't cut it for us, we like to see movement in the mosh pit which metalcore allows for.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Most of us went to school together, we met our drummer Geoff through a mate of ours and we found our singer Max online in a classifieds group seeking a band.

4. Each band member favourite band?  

Nick - The Ghost Inside

Max - Korn

Moose - August Burns Red

Anth - Slipknot

Aidan - Architects

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Most of song lyrics revolve around real life themes and trying to take positive experiences from life's negative times.

6. Where was your last gig?  

Our last gig was at Liverpool PCYC, NSW Australia.

7. Where would you like to act?  

One day we'd like to tour as a part of the Soundwave and Warped Tour festivals.

8. Whom would you like yo feat?

Parkway Drive for sure

9.Whorn not?  

No-one really, we don't like to discriminate when it comes to music.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Not really, once you hit the stage all fright disappears and turns into pure adrenaline.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

We grew up listening to alot of nu-metal stuff in the 90's such as Korn and Slipknot. We're influenced by alot of new artists too such as the Ghost Inside, For The Fallen Dreams etc.

12.What’s the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

On tour we got asked for alot of signatures, which is bizarre to us since we're a bunch of ordinary dudes playing music.

13. What do you think of your fans?  

Our fans are the greatest people, nothing makes us happier than seeing people sing our songs with us and throwdown in a mosh pit.

14. What do you think of our site?  

It's a great site, it's awesome to see a website that covers a whole range of bands from different nations.

15. Something to add?

We're recording our debut EP mid-July, keep an eye out for our music video and release.
