New World Order - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Brutalcore band New World Order from Colombia, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name was chosen unanimously, there were several proposals; NWO but we decided that that name because we think is an iconic name and also because means the end of humanity as we know and when we decided the name the NWO theory was a very controversial and fascinating subject.

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

We have a lot of influences, but the most marked influence is the core, we also like to explore new sounds but at the same time we try to have our own identity with the vocals and with the music, so to be honest we have to classify NWO in the Brutalcore genre.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

The band was form in early 2012, with Alx on guitar, Gohan on bass, Kmilo on drums and John on vocals... in 2013 Kamilo leaves the band to undertake other projects and started working with session drummers, highlighting Omar Lara, and Sander Bermudez great drummers of the Colombian scene.

4. Each band member favourite band? 

To many bands from a lot of genres, not only metal to mention here.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

John (vocals) is the one who brings lyrical ideas, basically talking about social and religious issues with some shades of politics.

6. Where was your last gig? 

Our last show was in late July at the city of Bogota.

7. Where would you like to act? 

In a lot of places around the world and in different festivals around the world to.

8. Whom would you like to feature with? 

We want to feature with a lot of bands but bassicaly with our influences like Gojira, Lamb Of God...etc.

9. Whom not? 

With the bands that are not honest.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Sure, I think we all had a first time in this and is very complex, but best thing you can do is relax and act spontaneously which is the best development.

11. What bands have inspired you the most? 

More than the bands, we have to say that we have been inspired by our experiences as humans, musicians, friends and fathers.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

The Maracas, the fans always ask for them, but we have to say no to them.

13. What do you think of your fans?

Our fans are the best, they have a lot of different music tastes, for example we have emocore fans, death metal fans or old school hardcore fans  so that inspire us to explore with new sounds for all of them.

14. What do you think of our site?

It is a gateway for foreign bands like us ... we came from Bogota, the capital of our beloved Colombia, and what better than an international site to give us the opportunity to arrange this interview and sites like Breathing The Core are epic because supports the scene around the world.
