All Misery - Interview

Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Death Metal band All Misery from Mexico, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?  

The idea of the name was kinda hard at first, we wanted the people to think about something caotic, most of our lyrics are about hopeless situations where destruction of "something" is the topic, its all about saying how destructive the world has become. "All Misery" was the perfect choice.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?  

We wanted to do extreme music, and we wanted as extreme as possible, if we want some blast beats, those ones better be freaking fast, and if we want some break downs, we want them as heavy as possible, its not easy to say the exact genre we are playing, we have some djent, some deathcore, some old school influences.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?  

Yeah, me (Christian) and Ivan (our drummer) played in a band for a couple of years, then i meet Mermek (vocals) and Adrian (bass) and well, the rest is history. We had other guitarist besides me, but then David came and we finally get the sound and people we needed since the beginning

4. Each band member favourite band?

David - Lamb Of God Ivan - Aborted

Mermek - The Acacia Strain

Adrian - Deftones

Christian - There are too many of them, please, dont make me choose one lol

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Its a hard question, but we listen to a lot of music, i think its more about the mood we have when we are writing, sometimes we just want some fast and agressive stuff, and sometimes we want some heavy ass breakdown coming out from nowhere. Its kinda random.

6. Where was your last gig?  

Here in our hometown, Durango, we allways enjoy to play to our people, we love our home and here we give our best in the stage, as we do in other places.

7. Where would you like to act?  

Everywhere haha, we want to tour the whole world, thats the idea.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?  

There are so many great bands, but i think feturing with Despised Icon would be a dream come true but they disbanded haha. I heard that they are doing a couple of shows in the future, if we get to be with them, that would be awesome.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?  

Well im not sure if any of us has suffered that kind of fear, i used to have fear of playing wrong notes but then i noticed that the more i practiced my riffs the more they became natural for me to play in stage, i think the only thing to beat that is playing live A LOT, and practicing as much as you can, the public deserves the best of you when you are in the stage, and if you dont have fear and you are confident about your playing, man, that moment is gonna be awesome.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?  

Carnifex, Whitechapel, Despised Icon, Infant Annihilator, Rings Of Saturn, i guess those ones are some of the many bands that are inspiring us right now

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?  

I'm in love of your guitar player.  -A guy  (not a question but weird)

13. What do you think of your fans?  

We love them, people have been so kind with us, we´ve played in a lot of places here in Mexico and people have allways been very supportive,  we have the best fans someone can have.

14. What do you think of our site?  

Its awesome to know there are sites like yours, that really cares about supporting bands no matter where they come from, sites like yours makes the whole wolrd scene grows more and more, thanks for doing that!

We are touring Europe in January.... People in Europe better be ready to get in the pit, All Misery is prepared to make you mosh.
