Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Metalcore band Taste Of Truth from Spain, so here you can see and give a like their FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

It was a year ago after rehearsal. We started brainstorming, but fortunately we didn't have to choose between lots of ideas. Sergio suggested our first name “The Bitter Taste of Truth” and everyone liked it. After a few months, we thought “Taste of Truth” would be a bit more catchy so we decided to change.

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

From the very beginning we know we wanted to play metalcore. We wanted to play something heavy and melodic and we all love bands like Killswitch Engage, Caliban, Parkway Drive, etc. so it was quite easy to choose a genre to play. Of course that's just the starting point, then when you are writing you don't think “I'm going to write a metalcore song”, you just play what you feel that moment

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Nope. We contact through the internet (yes, it seems the internet is not just for porn)

4. Each band member favourite band?

Tough one... It's really hard but we've tried to choose 3 bands.

Kan: Sick of it all, While She Sleeps, Obey the brave

Sergio: August Burns Red, Converge, The Black Dahlia Murder

David: Alexisonfire, Bring me the Horizon, She Wants Revenge

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

When it comes to music I think I'm not inspired by anything in particular. I just take my guitar and start to play. If there is something I like I record it and start to think how would fit that in a song.

Of course, my mood influences me in how I write.

About lyrics, Kan is inspired by his experiences. He use to talk about tough situations he has lived with a ray of hope.

6. Where was your last gig?

We have just released our first EP. and we are looking forward to close our lineup, so we haven't played live yet.

7. Where would you like to act?

We would love to play in big festivals like Hellfest, Graspop, Warped tour, etc and tour the USA and Europe, but we know that is reeaaaaaally hard and very far away. .

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

We'd love to play with a lot of artists.

If we could choose we will play and have some drinks with Adam D. from Killswitch Engage. Apart from a guitar monster he is a funny, crazy guy!

9. Whom not?

We don't think there is an artist or a band we don't want to play with.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

It is always exciting to play live, but we haven't suffered from stage fright. The best advice we could give is to trust your bandmates and yourself and give everything you've got. People will see that and won't mind if you make some mistakes.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Our main influences are August Burns Red, Parkway Drive, Darkest Hour, The Black Dahlia Murder, As Blood Runs Black, Trivium, All that Remains, Metallica...

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

We don't remember to be asked nothing weird. So let's get it started people!

13. What do you think of your fans?

They are really great. Since we published the EP we have been receiving a lot of support messages. It's really important for us to feel that people like what we are doing. We are really impatient for playing live and see them moshing to our songs!

14. What do you think of our site?

It's a great site! Sites like this are really important to give starting bands like us the chance to reach more people.

15. Something to add?

Just thank you and all the people supporting us. And say to our fans that soon we'll be hitting the stage!

Here's the link to our bandcamp, where everyone can listen to our EP. Blindfolded.
