Sink The Ship - Interview
Hey, Breathing The Core fans, here we bring you another interview of the Hardcore/Metal band Sink The Ship from USA, so here you can see and give a like to his FACEBOOK PAGE. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!
1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?
The band name was just kind of way to express being aggressive and running through obstacles. Plus it sounded cool. Haha!
2.Why did you want to play this genre?
It's a really good combination of what we all like. We try to incorporate everybody's preferences and keep it cohesive to the sound we're shooting for.
3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?
Zakk and I (Colton) knew each other, he's been my stepbrother ever since I can remember. Brandon (guitar) came around while we were trying out guitarist, and we met Aaron (drums) when he posted a drum cover of one of our songs on our Facebook wall. Things didn't work out with our original drummer, so we had always kept Aaron in mind. He eventually ended up joining. Jordan is our newest member and 2nd guitarist. We met him through playing with a couple of his former projects.
4. Each band member favourite band?
Colton- Senses fail
Zakk- Like Moths to Flames
Brandon- Avenged Sevenfold
Aaron- King's X
Jordan- Chunk No Captain Chunk
5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?
For me, it's every day life or even things from my past. If we're strangers, you can get to know a lot about me through our songs.
6. Where was your last gig?
We've been trying not to play local, because staying on the road and touring is our main focus right now. Our last local show was about a month ago at Rock City Live in Cleveland.
7. Where would you like to act?
Haha! Every young bands dream. Warped tour Cara sonriente con ojos en forma de corazón
8. Whom would you like to feature with?
If I could collaborate with any other vocalist it would probably be Jason Lancaster. Dudes a beast.
9. Whom not?
I don't think there's anybody I wouldn't collab with. I'd turn back time to take Fronz from Attila off of our EP though. Not a fan of him.
10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?
I think every artists first show is nerve racking. But you just have to barrel in and get it over with. We definitely aren't stage fright. The bigger and more hyped the crowd is, the more energy we put out and it always makes for a better show.
11. What bands have inspired you the most?
All of our favorite bands are definitely a driving force behind the inspiration
12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?
I don't think we've encountered anything out of the ordinary with that. Just the standard conversation at the merch table or a picture outside after our set.
13. What do you think of your fans?
Our fans are awesome on a ridiculous level. I'm just happy to say we have fans. Like, actual people that we've met on the road from different states, that go out of their way to keep in contact with us, and continue supporting us.
14. What do you think of our site?
Your site is such a great outlet for musicians. We love that you guys truly support the scene!
15. Something to add?
Be on the lookout for more singles releases from our upcoming album, and the album itself.
