Clementine - Interview

In this new occasion we have the great opportunity to interview the Hardcore band Clementine from Panama, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name? Did you plan it or did it come out just like that?

We named the band "Clementine" because the meaning of this name is: someone "brilliant", lover of the "balance, peace, art and harmony"

2.Why did you want to play this genre?

Because everyone in the band feels identified with the genre (Hardcore Metal).

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Yes, we met as friends, and we decided to unite our influences to form a band, in 2011.

4. What is each band member's favorite band?

Erwin (lead guitar): While She Sleeps

Jose (Vocalist): Tittle Fight / The Contortionist

Abdias (Bass): August Burns Red

Frank (Guitar): System Of A Down

Josue (Drummer): As I lay Dying

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

We like to write about things of our daily life, or important situations in our lives.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last Gig was in a local club in Panama city called Hangar 18.

7. Where would you like to act?

We will like to act in a Warped Tour, as a great international band.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Maybe with: Northlane, Like Moths To Flame, Volumes or August Burns Red

9. Whom not?

Maybe... Gorgoroth (Simply because is not our type of music)

10. Have any of you suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

No one of us suffered from stage fright, and for the beginners, just be who you are, don't be afraid and practice a lot.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

For Today. August Burns Red, The Devil Wears Prada, Haste the Day, Hundredth, Meshuggah, Northlane, Volumes.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Josue (Drummer): "One day, in a gig, a fan ask me for a photo with me, and he show a tattoo with his own face."

13. What do you think of your fans?

We are glad with the fans, with everyone who share our music, with everyone who support us and who like our music work.

14. What do you think of our site?

We think that is a nice page, that have greats bands and we are glad to be part of it.
