Interviews: New Reason

In this new occasion we have the awesome opportunity to interview the Pop Punk/Easycore band New Reason from Italy, here we will let you their FACEBOOK PAGE to give them a like and follow them.We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview!

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

The band name is an aptitude, I gave this name cause during the 2009 i left my previous band. It was very hard for me to accept and i decided to start again with a new band and a new aptitude, in this case a new reason.

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

We play our music in the most natural way possible, we usually dont like to label us with a specific musical genre. Our new Ep “Air Gun” is our personal vision about the music and we tried to mix our musical tastes together.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

Not exactly, i knew the bassplayer Michele and our guitarist Thomas, we live in the same city. Danilo, our drummer, and Dave, our screamo vocalist, were new knowledge during 2014 and at the beginning of 2015.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Personally I listen to Nirvana, Queen, Dinosaur Jr, Genesis, Elton John ecc.. I have the most classic and old musical tastes in the band. As I remember the other members usually listen to Pantera, Periphery, New Found Glory, Blink 182 ecc..

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

It depends, usually i play my guitar in my room and i start to sing something. I love play and sing the refrain, this is the first stuff from where i start to compose our songs. Usually i cant define my inspiration.

6. Where was your last gig?

In Nizza, France, last month. It was the second live show for us in this country, our french friends are the best, very good people and only good vibes.

7. Where would you like to act?

Every concert its a great opportunity for us to spread and share our music with new people, no preferences!

8. Where would you like to act?

Four Year Strong and Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! are our dreams!

9. Where would you like to act?

We aren’t “haters”! ahaha!

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Of course, every person when go on stage for the first time is afraid. Close your eyes guys and let yourself be guided by your music, don’t waste your time to copy other bands, be yourself and peolpe will notice it.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Every member in our band is inspired by his favourite band, we try to mix togheter our personal tastes to create something interesting and original. Many peolpe have compared us with the american band A Day To Remember, but as i said, we try to create something natural and original with our band and our music.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Unfortunately we don’t have an incredible story at the moment!

13. What do you think of your fans?

We love our fans, we are here thanks to you guys, thanks for this interview, for your website, for all the people who came at our show and pick a copy of “Air Gun”. We play music expecially for you guys, we would like to thank our fans, you are our strenght.
