Interviews: Message To The Masses

In this new occasion we have the pleasure to interview the Metalcore band Message To The Masses from USA. We have nothing more to say, so enjoy this interview and also like their FACEBOOK PAGE cause these band is epic.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

After talking it over and throwing a few names around, “Message to the Masses”, just kind of stood out to us. Music has always been really important to us and as well as the message we are sending to people so, the name had to be on point. In all honesty we were surprised the name hasn’t been taking because it’s straight to the point. Aren’t all bands sending a message to the masses? Lastly, the name is symmetrical so it’s good for not only designs ideas but, marketing and getting our name out there clearly.

2.Why did you want to play this genre? 

Because is the genre that we listen to.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We wanted to play this genre because it drives us all and we’re extremely passionate about it. Heavy metal and alternative rock is what we love and for us, we have the most fun playing it. We all knew each other for many years before starting the band. Each one of us we’re in several bands before MTTM and have watched each other excel. There came a point when all of us weren’t in bands and saw it as a sign or opportunity you could say to create this super group. We believe everything happens for a reason.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Matt(lead vocals): I can’t just say one and it’s more of a who than a band itself. Anthony Green, has been a massive inspiration to me. Matt(bassist/vocals): Mudvayne. Mikey(drummer): Deftones. Matti(lead guitarist): The Beatles. David(guitarist): Children of Bodom.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

Anything and everything.

6. Where was your last gig?

Our last gig was at SXSW in Austin, Texas. We played the Monster Energy Outbreak House stage!

7. Where would you like to act?

All over the world.

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

I would love to work with Fronz and Anthony Green.

9. Whom not?

I guess someone that wouldn’t be passionate about what they’re doing? Other than that, I don’t really know haha.

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

I’m sure all of us had our share of stage fright but, when you’ve been playing music for as long as we have, you kind of just get over it with time. The tip is to just believe in what your doing and be confident about it. The fear will eventually burn out.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

There’s tons of bands I could name off that have inspired me over the years. However, in my opinion it’s the bands that are still around and continuing to push for greatness. It’s one thing to be talented and skillful but, it’s another thing to be passion and dedicated. When I see a band, and in that band, each member has those traits? There’s nothing more inspiring or respectful than that.

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

Our band is extremely weird and quite honestly, someone’s weirdness is usually what makes them who they are. So to answer your question, nothing too weird yet.

13. What do you think of your fans?

The MTTM fam is growing by the day, new or old, we love each and everyone of them! They’re the best and make what we do possible.

14. What do you think of our site?

It’s very clean and well put together. Easy to navigate and straight to the point. We dig it.

15. Something to add?

We just hope everyone gives us a chance and takes a listen to our music. We will be touring more and want to see new faces out there having fun with us!
