News: PICTURESQUE PREMIERES NEW SONG "FAKE FICTION"; ON TOUR W/ I THE MIGHTY
Picturesque is now premiering a new song - "Fake Fiction" - that comes from their forthcoming debut full-length album, which will be released in 2017 on Equal Vision Records. The album was recorded in Los Angeles, CA with producer Erik Ron (Saosin, Panic! At The Disco). The song can be heard now at Youtube.com/equalvision.
"The song is about staying in an unhealthy relationship when the love is already gone," reveals vocalist Kyle Hollis. "The song was written acoustically first and transposed to be full band before we entered the studio. This song stayed pretty much the same as the original demo. We're really excited to play "Fake Fiction" on our next tour and to hang out with everyone again!"
The Lexington, KY-based quintet is led by the truly stunning vocal range and power of Hollis, and supported by an equally impressive musical blend of rock, post-hardcore and pop influences. The band has just wrapped up a tour with blessthefall; And they will next head out on a full US run with Equal Vision Records labelmates I the Mighty. The tour will kick off this Friday in Sacramento, CA. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.
The band also recently released a music video for "Monstrous Things" - the title track from their latest EP. The video can be seen HERE. Monstrous Things is out now via Equal Vision Records.
Picturesque features Kyle Hollis (vocals), Zach Williamson (guitar), Dylan Forrester (guitar), Robert Mote (bass), and Cole Clark (drums).
