News: SPILL MAG Premieres RETURN FOR REFUND Single "My Gun"

Dynamic rock group Return For Refund is bringing you the first single off their full length EP, 'Lift You Up', on Spill Mag. The single, "My Gun", is driven by dark and powerful emotions, a common theme throughout the album. 

“The music for "My Gun" had been with me for a while but the vocals kept stumping me until I had this dream about wandering through a post-apocalyptic wasteland," explains Drew Clementino Aguiar.  "I woke up feeling so sad and the idea of wandering around with a gun through the world that once was stayed with me for days. Every time I play it, I feel the emptiness of the wasteland and the despair of that dream.” 

 'Lift You Up' follows the band's self-titled debut from 2014, and is set to release on March 24, with a March 25th EP release show in Toronto. Through their unique recording process, the band was able to capture their truly raw sound and retain the power of their live performances from start to finish.  

Return For Refund has been drawing impressive crowds at shows across Canada, and shows no signs of stopping.  They plan to kick off the Canadian leg of their tour with an EP release in Toronto, and will continue on into the UK and Europe in the fall.
