Interviews: A CRIME CALLED

In this new occassion we have had the opportunity to interview the  Alternative Rock band A CRIME CALLED from Italy. Check out the interview and this band on their FACEBOOK PAGE.

1.Where did you get the idea for the band name, you planned it or came out just like that?

I was fascinated, says Andrea (singer) by the fact that there were no groups with the three dots of suspension,  and I wanted to give people a choice at the end of the sentence

2. Why did you want to play this genre?

For me, Alternative rock is the best solution to express in music the paradoxs and contrasts enclosed inside all of us. Our brain melt as in rock music electrical impulses and emotion. All those became riffs, fills and lyrics.

3. Did you know each other before the band was formed?

We live in a small environment where musicians could get in touch easily, so in the begin you share the passion for the same music  style, then after you put a line up you share a band too.

4. Each band member favourite band?

Too many and for every musical decades, from rock music icons and and indie bands all goes around in our playlist.

5. Who or what inspires you to write songs?

90’s grunge, crossover from California has a big part in our sound. Melody and music comes togheter  trying to get a great distorted impact-

6. Where was your last gig?

In Milan, at Magazzini Generali, with Hollywood Undead, an amazing rock and crossover band

7. Where would you like to act?

It would be nice in USA, our experience was recording two songs in New York.

Asia too, it’s not a Dream so faraway .

8. Whom would you like to feature with?

Maybe Stone Sour.

9. Whom not?

Abba

10. Any of you has ever suffered from stage fright? Any tip for beginners on how to beat that?

Fear the stage it’s so common, more when you play in big stages. First tip, think about bring music to the people its pleasing and so share fun with audience.

And get those fun back.

11. What bands have inspired you the most?

Pierce The Veil, Papa Roach and more artists!

12. What's the weirdest thing a fan has ever asked you for?

A very special fan from russia asked to put in the ass a coin and think about him before leaving the state.

13. What do you think of your fans?

That they are crazy and amazing, the follow us very strictly and they send us drawings of moments of the show. They bring the show to us.

14. What do you think of our site?

It’s a big help for All those band struggling sailing the ocean.

15. Something to add?

Our new single Weekend Odyssey it’s out on internet music sharing, and in UK, Eastern Europe, Russia, US, south Canada, China Japan and Asia in radio.

This song it’s from NY recordings, with great friend and producer Dann Korneff and genious Giuseppe Bassi Aka Dualized. As for Drown, our previous single, that could stand out with so many Alternative Rock masterpieces.
