We consider that our music has many influences from different styles/groups and can have multiple origins. Things, many times, have unknown origins. Are we the only developed civilization? Are there more civilizations in the universe? Would we be prepared for contact with another intelligent species?

Following this metaphor about origins, we thought it appropriate to call the topic "Drake's Equation". This equation calculates the number of developed or intelligent civilizations in the universe that could make contact with us.

Will there also be more equations like the Drake Equation?
