Behind The Artworks: Leo Maia - Passive Genocide (Single) (2024)

The cover art was directly inspired by photos of the open air improvised mass graves in Manaus during COVID-19. The intention was to use this reference in a psychedelic manner worthy of a progressive cover. The cover depicts fields if souls, with heads representing buried people, planted in a valley that stretches into infinity. In the sky above, there is a powerful face responsible for it all. This face has a cracking mask, representing the manipulative tyrant.
