Behind The Artworks: Siege Perilous - Creation's Call (2024)

The Cover Art for “Creation’s Call” was created by my friend Melissa. She not only has done most of our cover art including our epic “Betrayal of the Dracolich” cover but she used to be my boss at a Dungeons and Dragons-themed bar and restaurant called Dungeons and Drafts. The concept for the Cover Art comes from the title track which basically asks the question “What would happen if you could speak to the creator of the universe?” Of course as a power metal band, the creator of the universe is a dragon. I love Melissa’s use of cool colors to really show the dragon breathing life into this universe.
