Band Biographies: Obscura Qalma

Obscura Qalma (obskùra-kalma) delivers a vortex of rabid and monolithic atmospheres as a gateway to a shattered dimension.

Born in 2019 in Venice, Italy, in the same year they published the first EP ‘from the Sheol to the Apeiron ‘ through metal scrap records.

In 2021, Obscura Qalma released their first full album ‘apotheosis‘ through Rising Nemesis Records (within destruction, acranius, stillbirth).

In 2023 the band signed a deal with the Italian label Dusktone (bishop of Hexen, stormlord, opera ix) for 2 releases, the first of which is the ‘Veils of Transcendence ‘ ep, out in January 2024.

Since its inception, the band has played in Italy, Austria, Serbia, Bulgaria, Czech republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Bosnia, Switzerland, France, Spain, and Germany.
