The album art and title are taken from the idea that in the story of creation from Genesis, Adam & Eve are never really given the Garden of Eden as an option at all. It was always doomed to them, if God knew everything and God is timeless and indeed, created Adam and Eve including their psychology, the Fall of Man was already known and etermined and their fate was sealed and never in their control. The album art features Adam and Eve walking through a giant archway hand-in-hand. I wanted there to be some warmth and togetherness between the two figures. It's unclear where they are going, but the fact that they are facing their destination together provides some optimism despite their sinister surroundings. I feel that this is emblematic of the fate of man. We may have a harsh world to deal with, but even in the face of life's futility, not being alone offers respite.
