Track By Tracks: Xenotheory - Blissful Death (2024)

"Against a backdrop of science fiction, this story draws explicit inspiration from the Bible. Anti-capitalist and feminist messages remain present, paying homage to the first Alien film. There are reflections on servitude, the thirst for power, and other flaws in society, allowing listeners their own interpretations. Throughout the story, the heroine, accompanied by an AI, will discover the ruins of a lost civilization (an ancient, forgotten human colony) and work to destroy the Aliens, including the queen from the first album.

Track 01: Resurrection / Cover

At the end of the first album, the heroine escaped from the ship in a capsule. After being in stasis for years, she finally lands on a planet and awakens. She finds herself in a lush forest and discovers the fallen city. A towering obsidian structure looms in the distance, mesmerizing her.

Track 02:

The heroine wanders through the city, sensing a dark force that draws her beyond the walls. She finds a massive rift on the outskirts of the megapolis. Forced to take shelter in the city due to a sandstorm, she encounters a colossal tower.

Track 03:

Upon passing through a gigantic gate, she discovers an ancient, equally massive statue at the center of the tower. At its base, she reads a poem engraved in the pedestal.

Track 04:

Exploring the tower, the heroine finds fossilized remnants of an Alien massacre. She stumbles upon a spherical room with a sort of computer. She "connects" to it and relives the city's final moments.

Track 05:

The heroine continues to explore the city's "memories." She enters a memory of a child’s perspective, witnessing a fanatical population that blindly sacrifices humans to the aliens in the rift to "buy" peace.

Track 06:

At the end of this waking dream, the heroine meets the AI "Nimrod." It tells her the history of the civilization, its subordination to the ruling classes, and asks for her help in destroying the Aliens. She agrees, and Nimrod "implants" itself in her to guide her on her quest.

Track 07:

The heroine continues exploring the tower, descending a spiral staircase adorned with a mural that narrates the workings and history of the civilization.

Track 08:

Nimrod reveals the heroine's destiny and the trials she must face to reach a temple in the desert. Inside, she will find a bomb powerful enough to destroy all the Aliens in the rift.

Track 09:

Track 9 is a "bonus" track with adapted text. Here, I incorporated a modified passage from the crucifixion of Jesus, aligning it with the story. In essence, Nimrod is the "soul of the founder" of the civilization, a Christ-like figure.

Track 10:

After this interlude, we return to the heroine further along in the story. She traverses the desert, bringing the bomb back to the city. She becomes ensnared in a vision, a mirage, where she traverses the ten circles of hell (a nod to Dante's Inferno).

Track 11:

Emerging from the tenth circle, she reaches the edge of the rift, her final destination. She is horrified to see thousands of hibernating aliens embedded in the rift. At the bottom, she finds an "ocean" of eggs, a praetorian guard, and their progenitor, the Queen. Accepting her fate, the heroine detonates the bomb."
