Interviews About Albums: Xenotrone - Into The Void (2025)
In this new interview, we sat down with the Ukrainian Thrash Metal band Xenothrone to ask questions about their album, "Into The Void".
1. What can you say about Into the Void?
This album is a great start to 2025! It takes the listener into the boundless cosmos. It captures the atmosphere of the stories behind the lyrics and, of course, the music, which is always the top priority for XENOTRONE.
2. What is the meaning of the album name?
The album name perfectly reflects its essence: it’s a collection of musical canvases that, from the first to the last note, hold the listener in another dimension, making them think about certain things and the structure of the universe.
3. Which one is the composer of Into the Void?
All the band members contributed to writing the compositions. The lyrics were written by Kostyantyn Roskosenko.
4. If you had to pick one song, which one would you pick?
I think it would be "I Have No Mouth, But I Must Scream."
5. Is there a special message in Into the Void? If there is, what is it?
Yes, I think there is a message: a human being is just a speck of dust in the vastness of the universe. But this is just a fact. Every life is unique and filled with meaning, just like every song on the album – all of them are unique, each carrying its own message and theme.
6. Are there some lyrics that you'd love to share?
You will be able to read all the lyrics on physical copies or in the lyric video for the song "Tower of Madness," which will be released on January 15. I think I would highlight these lyrics in particular!
7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thank especially?
The biggest sources of inspiration were horror movies and science fiction. Also, music: ambient, jazz, and, of course, death metal!
8. Something to add?
Yes! Glory to Ukraine!
