Behind The Artworks: Mortui Vultus - Distant Echoes (2025)

This is a photograph that was accidentally taken by our friend Alina, who takes photographs on VKontakte. We chose it because there is something raw and unintentional about this shot—like life itself, constantly searching for hope.

 

In the picture, the sea looks endless and almost empty, much like the space we exist in. There’s a feeling of an endless search—for hope, for meaning, for something important… But does it even exist? Where do you look for it? No one knows.
