Behind The Artworks: Zubzero - Perverseverance (2025)

‘Perverseverance’ is made out of the two words perverse and perseverance. We humans always want more. More money and more power. In the end this will destroy the earth and end humanity. As we sing in ‘Biopiracy’ we are “driven by greed”.

 

The devil in the dollar bill can stand for any greedy human: if you enrich yourself, somewhere else someone is getting poorer. That other person might think you are evil. Or does this devil stand for the current president of the USA? It sure isn’t Benjamin Franklin.

 

We used the same main lay-out as for our previous EP ‘Frostbite’: the title on top and our band logo a bit smaller at the bottom. The CD comes in a four panel digipack. The concept of the front cover was created by our bass player Herman and the complete artwork was done by Koert Posthumus, who also did the ‘Lost Sun’ demo (2022) and the ‘Frostbite’ EP (2023). Koert put some pretty neat details in the front cover and elsewhere. We are very pleased with the result!
