Band Biographies: Ancestor Of Kaos

Ancestor of Kaos is a Black Metal band originally formed in Havana, Cuba in 2005 under the name Ancestor releasing the first demo "In Absence of Light" (2005) in tape and Split CD and 2 albums "Hell Fuckin' Metal" (2008) and "I am the Truth" (2012). In 2013, the band moved to the U.S following an invitation to South by Southwest SXSW 2013 and initially relocated to Miami, being very active playing live shows around South Florida until 2015, opening for bands like DEICIDE, ACHERON, GOATWHORE, among others. From 2015 until 2020, the band went into a brief hiatus, and the name was changed to Ancestor of Kaos because multiple bands used the same name. They got back together in 2020, and in 2022, they released the "Ancestor of Kaos" album, which consists of new versions of old songs. This time, they were re-recorded in Las Vegas, Nevada.

 

In 2024 and with a renewed line up formed by Jorge Hellfire on vocals (Ejecutador, Que Asko, ex- Reapermanser, ex- Kunt Knucles), Joel Zalazar on guitars, Luis Bosque on bass and Alcides Rodriguez on drums, Ancestor of Kaos announced the release on August 16 of the first single "Legacy" from their upcoming album "Animal Ritual" to be released in 2025.
