Behind The Artworks: Grey Czar - Euarthropodia (2025)

It is a masterfully handinked illustration drawn by Antonio Ilievski aka Pig Hands. It reflects the whole concept of our album in a way we couldn’t be happier with. The cover art was specifically drawn for our album, and it encapsulates the main theme of exploitation and the failure of humankind in the form of a locust swarm, a dying antelope and the setting or rising sun. Antonio worked very hard on the artwork and its different iterations, it was a first for him to draw insects, but he rose to the challenge, and it shows, because it frames the underlying concept perfectly. From the beginning we we’re planning a vinyl LP, so the size of the artwork was set to fit a gatefold packaging. The colourful nature of the artwork was also intentional as we wanted to mark the evolving nature of our music to stand out from the more monochrome artworks of our previous releases.
