Behind The Artworks: THE ODDEVEN - Outer Space Outtakes (2025)

Weed: When we were creating the last record, we had a number of semi-finished ideas, that we didn’t complete. We loved the riffs and lyrical ideas, but the band lineup wasn’t “right” to bring them to the place where we felt they needed to be. E.T. (guitar) and I decided to go looking for new alien partners to bring the songs to fruition. While the original idea behind this record was not to leave the “outtakes” from the last record behind, the songs grew into something better than we had imagined with the new lineup on board. The relationship between our alien and human creativity are on display throughout the record, and illustrated on the album cover.
