Behind The Artworks: Set The Lights - Set The Lights (2025)

A lot of the artwork for the singles features some sort of gold cracks, alluding to the Japanese art of kintsugi. The idea that something broken can be made beautiful was a huge inspiration for the art, and it goes with the core values of Set the Lights. For the EP, I wanted to insert even more of myself, so I went with a Japanese anime-style artwork featuring my friend and guitarist Adrian, and myself on the right. I still featured the gold cracks in the background, though I blurred them a bit, to bring the characters out more. The artwork is my own design, and I thought it was a perfect way to share another piece of myself with my audience that went beyond just the music.
