Connor: PREY came about from the frustration of "online" culture. Everything is fabricated, and we are fed to believe whatever narrative is being presented, and having a curated and dedicated algorithm for each of us. Doesn't matter if what we are watching is real or factually true; it's the algorithm that keeps us locked into our phones, wasting away and ruining our mental health. These big tech companies have made a new addiction, and have us doomscrolling endlessly in a sea of ridiculous bullshit, and we find ourselves unable to turn away. We are prey to our technology. We are prey to the algorithms.
