Behind The Artworks: Ampicore - March Up Country - The Rock Opera (2025)

For the front cover, I wanted a battlefield with one soldier on a horse overlooking the carnage. On the back, a scene of the soldiers marching in columns through the countryside. I got a brilliant graphic designer named Matthias to do the designs. I preferred a hand-made graphic over a more realistic A.I. creation. He was very intuitive and created them with very few revisions. The story is about battles, but mostly about survival, and enduring the challenges of marching for months and years. I think the album artwork gets that point across.
