Behind The Artworks: Grindpad - Violence (2020)

Actually, the artwork for Violence is quite a funny story on its own.

After Ed Repka's artwork for the 2017 EP "Sharkbite!", everybody was, of course, like "Ok, the girl is doomed".

The artwork captured the moment just before she is eaten alive, right?

With "Violence", we thought: but what if..... that is NOT what happened?

So, we presented our idea to Repka.... and he didn't like it AT ALL, hahaha.

But we believed so strongly in our idea that we were able to convince him.

We said: Look at it almost as a cartoon. Plus, as far as we knew, this wasn't done before (making a cover that completely puts the cover before in another perspective).

"And where did she get the big-ass chainsaw from, all of a sudden...?" We leave that one up to your imagination : )
