Track By Tracks: Worlds Beyond - Rhapsody Of Life (2025)
“Rhapsody of Life” is a concept album celebrating human existence. Every song narrates a
particular experience that’s part of our collective lives. They culminate in the title track, which
poses the ultimate question.
We hope this album can expand your appreciation for life.
Sincerely, Worlds Beyond
Track By Track
1. Familiar Skies:
Revisiting people & places from your past is a twofold experience: on one hand, there’s the nostalgia and gratitude for those past events leading to a strong
connection. On the other hand, time has changed both you and the source of the
memory significantly.
2. Unwind Our Story:
Love or friendship should never mean losing yourself. A relationship is a constant
dance between two individuals, not a merging into one. This song is about standing
your ground, recognizing when your boundaries are crossed, and untangling the
parts that don’t belong to you. In the end, love can only thrive when everyone
remains whole.
3. Sleepless Dreams:
Life is a paradox: we are born from nothing and destined to return to it. Between
those two voids, we chase meaning, joy, and connection. We wrestle with the weight
of existence, the beauty and sorrow woven into it, and the lingering question: If we
had a conscious choice, would we choose to be here?
4. Breaking Free:
The script provided by the world around us is optional. We can reject expectations,
refuse to fit into a mold, and dare to live life on our own terms. This is a call to
embrace who you truly are, no matter who tells you otherwise.
5. The Calling:
Whenever we have an interesting idea in our minds, there’s this exciting urge of
wanting to give it a concrete form, to bring it to life, to solidify it as a real-world entity.
This song is about the creative urge to leave our tiny marks on the world & make it a
better place.
6. Beyond Reality:
The most important resource we have is time, and there are no existing
methods of replenishing it. It’s therefore so important to make deliberate personal
choices on what to invest in. You can do anything, you can’t do everything.
Fortunately, there are a lot of good choices out there.
7. The Spark:
There’s a quiet magic in finding inspiration in others and turning it into something
uniquely your own. Not all creativity comes from within a person. Some minds are
like wild gardens blooming with original ideas, others are beautifully constructed
mosaics: pieces gathered from the world around, assembled into something new. We
see, listen, and absorb to create something of our own.
8. Enchantment:
Falling in love for the first time can feel like stepping into a world you never knew
existed. The air is warmer, the sky is wider, and everything is covered with an
unexplainable glow. Love unfolds like a hidden path in the forest, sunlight breaking
through the leaves and touching your skin for the very first time with its warmth.
9. The Moment:
The essence of existence is simply existing itself. Being in a flow state, meditating,
doing anything that alters the perception of time, until it eventually stops altogether.
You are here. You are in this moment. You’re aware of it, grateful, and fulfilled.
10. One with the Stars:
Everything changes, and everything ends. Not just our experiences, relationships,
thoughts of mind, but also those of everyone & everything around us. When the time
is right to move to a new adventure, we can mentally take them with us and use them
as fuel for the road ahead.
11. Rhapsody of Life:
Rhapsody, noun: an epic poem, an episodic yet integrated musical work, typically
emotional and highly contrasted
The human condition is an extremely old and important subject that deserves
continuous retelling. There is no single answer to the meaning of life, so this album
instead provides you with an eclectic mix of human emotions and experiences,
asking you to form your own personal answer.
This title track contains lyrical references to all other songs on the album, as well as a
selection of quotes from important historical minds recited by locals in their original
languages. The intro poem and the structure of the piece are loosely inspired by
Shakespeare’s All The World’s A Stage monologue.
