Behind The Artworks: Kill Everything - Headless Cum Dumpster (2025)
Our vocalist Johnny Abila had been writing the lyrical concepts for this album, his storyline chronicles the horrifying journey of SSK (Serial Slut Killer), an interdimensional alien revealing a macabre underground world where mutilation and supernatural forces reign.
Having the themes established before the art was commissioned helped us with the vision we wanted graphically to match his sick well-constructed world he was creating. I began the search for an artist who had a knack for blending styles. Ryan Omega of New Delhi India came across our path. He had a unique style which reminded me of some of the comic artist Arthur Suydam work. It was vivid, sharp but with a hint of oil painted canvas style work. I reached out to Ryan Omega sharing the themes Johnny Abila had in mind. I knew I wanted something specific. Johnny Abila had stationed SSK out of the sewers as his lair so the art was based upon that.
The cover art we had Ryan Omega make was fashioned from a body pose I had seen in some old 70's comics. I had Ryan Omega use my wife Stephanie Wynn's likeness for that piece also. I sent him a photo of her face for him to use as the model. We also wanted all the art for the release to match in a working flow for the album theme. The background was related to the sewer underground lair. The physical CD was a photo I took of a manhole, sewer cover in Lake Dallas Texas. The Texas Special. Behind the CD on the back tray portion, when the CD is removed from the jewel case Ryan Omega designed the open sewer filled with intestines etc.
The final art work Ryan Omega had made for us was used on the back of the CD jewel case. I used a photo I took of my friend Jennifer Bonner in Dallas to base the body pose from. Ryan's talent handled the rest of the details. Johnny had suggested some of the SSK signature be found in the artwork. On the left forearm of the Jenner Bonner artwork you can see a faint glowing Alien like signature on her arm.
Ryan Omega was great to work with! We're very pleased with how it all came together! We hope everyone enjoys the music and the art we created! Looking forward to seeing people support our Merch with the artwork for Headless Cum Dumpster!
