To make this video for “dormant plants”, we went back at night — with thesame pocket camera — to the exact spot where the “change my name”video ends: by a pond, in the middle of a pine forest in the mountains.It’s this very place that inspired the song — a place where it’s easy to loseany clear sense of scale, and to physically feel that you're part of the living world.This time, to shoot the single-sequence, we had to walk — because “the mounds in motion blur the line.” In the darkness, shapes become uncertain, and it’s hard to tell where we end and where other beings begin...It felt like a fitting second release to announce the upcoming album, called“shifting forms”!
