Track By Tracks: Absolutism - Stream Of Consciousness (2025)
1. Devious Ontogeny:
The opening track and first single was released with an astonishing animation video
by Nick Luchkiv, Selfburning Studio. This song sets the mood with a brooding
atmosphere that explodes in a constant barrage of guitars and drums, starting
with an arrangement of high-gain guitars, percussion effects, and a Tuvan-Mongol
throat singing. The intended meaning of the title is a metaphorical suggestion of
humankind's transformation into a monstrosity (as can be seen in the artwork). It
also hints at the notion of humanity becoming a new insidious organism.
2. Stream of Consciousness:
The song where the band has intentionally carried forth its belligerent Tech
death/grind nature while further digging into its exploration of ambience and
space atmospheres. At the midpoint, sinister arrangements push to the surface,
leading the song into a build that combines tech death guitar work with melodic
leads, vocals, and soloing.
3. Dark Hemispheres:
This jazzy, progressive instrumental interlude offers a short pause in the
relentlessness, brutality, and speed of the album. After centuries of space travel,
the crew is about to surrender to exhaustion, emptiness and despair, raising the
issue of ¨burn-out¨ as the sickness of a society that suffers from excessive
positivity, a yes-we-can world in which nothing is impossible, a world that
requires people to strive to the point of self-destruction.
4. Nebulae Dominate:
On their way to Cygnus X-
1, the ¨Absolutism¨ spaceship sent a space probe to
an unknown planet and discovered the presence of minerals and other
resources. After more than 2 centuries of space travel, the crew´s 7th generation
is tired and morally exhausted. The discovery brings hope.
A technical Death Metal song with elements of Grindcore, with a marked
experimental character, including dissonances and elements of progressive
metal around the structures of the songs and the tempo modulation. Unlike the
other songs, this one strips out the building atmosphere and focuses on hooking
dissonances and stellar vocal performance.
5. Apoapsis and Death (feat. Daniela ¨Dahlien¨ Neumanova):
As the ¨Absolutism¨ spaceship starts orbiting the newly discovered planet, a
starburst is detected near Cygnus X-1. The crew is in shock at the unexpected
and dangerous event, and fears for the effect of the supernova on their long-awaited destination. Fear takes over the ship.
The aggression is relentless from the beginning as the guitars and drums lay to
waste any remaining energy you might have. The only relief comes when the
song slows toan atmospheric Tuvan-Mongol throat singing mood, dragging you
through the space-time in a beautiful and haunting atmosphere. Then, gutturals
by Daniela ¨Dahlien¨ Neumanova crack the sky as the brutality intensifies. As it
grows, the vocals become more and more pained, and the emotion is as thick as
the unknown outer space.
6. Accretion Divine:
The second single has been corrupting ears and eyes since the beginning of the
year with its astonishing video, again developed by Nick Luchkiv, Selfburning
Studio. Accretion Divine represents the band´s frenetic technical death metal
formula with grindcore attitude and brutal uppercuts, and experimental
excursions into introspective space excursions and jazzy noodling to break up
the relentlessness of the bulk of the material comprising the song.
