Behind The Artworks: TINE - A Winter Horrorscape (2025)
For the artwork of the album, I won’t go into too many details on the early stages of the
art, but I did change artists at one point. That is all I can say on that, but I will say that
the art of James Hutton truly speaks to me, and I was thrilled to have him do the final
cover art for this album. As with all Tine artwork, the artwork was collaborative, with me
sharing my vision with James and him bringing it to life and taking his own creative
liberties of course. Elements such as the shrouded figure in red and the ghastly trees
are very important to the cover art and the theme of the album as this album clearly
conveys imagery of a cold, wintry, malevolent, forest seeking to assail, conquer, and
consume any who would travel within. Both the front cover and the back cover are one
singular piece of art, which was intended. I am extremely pleased with the final artwork
and the look and feel it conveys for the theme and sound of this album.
