Behind The Artworks: Toilet Snake - Back From The Sewers (2025)
For our self-titled debut, the image was straightforward and raw – a cobra bursting out of a toilet,
fangs bared, capturing that wild spirit. But for Back from the Sewers, the concept had to evolve.
The cover depicts a massive snake bursting from beneath the ground, tearing through the earth
itself. Its face emerges onto the streets of a city engulfed in flames, a scene of chaos and conflict.
People try to flee the destruction, caught in the turmoil.
The artwork draws inspiration from children’s books that reveal underground worlds through cross-sections, exposing roots and hidden creatures. This technique adds layered depth to the chaos
above.
We reached out to Sandy Rezalmi for his distinctive style, characterized by a bold metal edge
infused with punk energy, which we believe perfectly balances the destructive force below with the
urban unrest above. It’s a visual reflection of the unifying theme running through the EP.
