Behind The Artworks: Sanity's Rage - The Dead Don't Run (2025)

The cover artwork for the 'The Dead Don't Run' is a very elaborate piece, yet very much in the vein of traditional thrash metal album covers. However, if we look at it more closely, it has a lot of things going on in relation to the content of the album, the title track and the band, Sanity's Rage.

The scene is a wasteland filled with elements of chaos and destruction. Undead people, monsters, zombie dogs, hazardous waste, and the ruins of society. These all serve as references to the struggles in life. The negative side to the human condition. The declining social structures, which we deal with in more detail in every song of the album.

Central in the front, we see a man who is surviving in this brutal environment. Covered in blood, but obviously well equipped and prepared to deal with everything that comes on his path. He carries the flag of Sanity Rage. This symbolizes the strength of a clear state of mind and conviction to help survive these extreme conditions. Keep going at your own steady pace. The Dead Don't Run!
