Behind The Artworks: Midland Railway - Unwavering Optimism (Single) (2025)

Nick (Midland Railway): The artwork for our brand new single, Unwavering Optimism, is the work of Ste Flemming. His idea was a colourful, flower-strewn path through an apocalyptic wasteland, and I think it fits the theme of the song perfectly - the extreme contrast that we sometimes have to deal with when trying to remain hopeful despite all the previous experiences.

I particularly like the way the path draws you into the picture, and the colour Ste has used, and the contrast between the colours on the path and the greys of the wasteland. The pink flowers match our logo pretty well, too.
