Behind The Tracks: The Daytime Rivalry - Lost Boy (Single) (2025)

Lost Boy is a track I never thought I would get to make. One, it features an artist (KJ-52), I grew up listening to since around the age of 10. When I went to write that song, it began as somewhat of a tribute to his music in my life, but quickly turned into a unique parallel of the relationship I’ve had with my faith and how it has grown over time. From the inklings of youthful nostalgia to the more mature decisions and struggles, I have faced.

 

Along that journey, now includes my experiences as a father and how key that has become to my life. Much like the movie Hook, Peter Pan (the infinite lost boy) growing up, I needed someone to save me from going crazy but it all points to a larger purpose and getting to share that with my family and friends truly shows the positive angle of living being an awfully big adventure.
