Interviews About Albums: Myth Of Logic - The Memory Of After (2025)

In this new interview, we sat down with the American Progressive Rock project, Myth Of Logic, to ask questions about their album "The Memory Of After". 

1. What can you say about this new EP/CD?

I can say that I honestly feel that “The Memory Of After” is my best work.

That isn’t to say that previous releases have not been as good. They are all different. It’s an old cliche but generally an artist will name their most recent work as their best. That is progression.

2. What is the meaning of the EP/CD name?

“The Memory Of After” is very simply a phrase. I like the shape of it. Sometimes the shape is more impactful than the actual meaning. It refers to Mercy reflecting with great sorrow on her life and her choices.

3. Which one is the composer of the CD/EP?

That would be me. Scott G. Davis.

4. If you have to pick one song, which one would you pick?

If it’s on the album, it’s a favorite. I love them all. I’ll let others break them down into divisions.

5. Is there a special message in this EP/CD? If there is what it is?

If a message is there it is that life, such as it is is brief and full of wonder. The wise will cherish it and take that love with them when they leave here.

7. Which inspirations have been important for this album? Like musically or friends, family, someone you'd love to thanks specially?

As with all things Myth Of Logic all roads lead back to my lovely wife, Angie Davis. There is no Myth Of Logic without her.
